That’s what I’m calling it from now on! LOL

After seeing so many frankens all over nail blogs, and a small but growing nail polish collection I decided to try my hand at it too! Using polishes that I seldom use as a full manicure and an empty mini nail polish bottles that day for 50sen each I mixed up my own little concoction of a jelly pink.

I loved how it came out. A little pink, a little coral and a whole lot jelly!

In the photos, I used 3 coats of Franken-pink over OPI Base Coat and topped it with 1 coat of Seche Vite. One thing that stood out to me when looking at this pictures was that my nail line seemed to be a little blackened under Franken-pink. But it didn’t seem so in real life.

I tried to do a jelly sandwich on my ring finger with this new franken and OPI Crown Me Already but it did not come out as I expected. The formula of the franken seemed too thin to cover up the glitter nicely.

But OPI CMA did shine really, really well even under 2 coats of Franken-pink.

If I remember correctly, I filled the mini bottle up to the mid point with clear polish, added a dash (around 10 drops) of OPI Big Apple Red and another 5 drops of OPI I Need Sunglasses.
